Tracy and Peggy Gupton of West Columbia, Texas, proudly announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Brian Leslie Gupton, to Tiffanie Rae Hatley, the daughter of Joe and Tina Hatley of Katy, Texas, and the granddaughter of Katy Rae Ward of Center, Texas. The wedding is scheduled for October 17, 2009, at the Varner-Hogg State Park in West Columbia. Tiffanie and Brian will exchange their wedding vows, weather permitting, outdoors in front of the mansion where former Texas Governor James Stephen Hogg and his family once lived. Both Joe and Tina, as well as Peggy and myself, are ecstatic about the forthcoming wedding. Stay tuned for further news regarding this momentous occasion in the Gupton family.
Brian, a 2000 graduate of Columbia High School, is currently employed by the Hilti Corporation. He has attended The University of Houston, Texas A&M University, Sam Houston State University, Blinn College and Brazosport College.
Tiffanie is a graduate of Katy Taylor High School. She is a 2008 graduate of The University of Houston with a degree in public relations. Tiffanie is currently employed by The University of Houston in the sports information department.
