Whose Got The Biggest . . . Catch?

I guess it's just a guy thang! Always comparing the size of their, well, you know.
Some say size doesn't matter, but that really depends on what you are comparing the dimensions of. When it comes to fish, SIZE DOES MATTER!!!
My son Brian Gupton of Katy, Texas, is extremely proud of the 35-pound redfish he caught recently at the mouth of the Brazos River on a friendly fishing expedition with his fiance Tiffanie Hatley and his close friends, Matt and Josh Autenrieth and their spouses. The top photo is of Brian's big catch. The second photo is of my son Brian with a big trout he reeled in recently aboard the Autenrieth's boat.
The third photo is of a big catch made with a regular rod and reel by my cousin Denise's husband Bobby Ingram of Smithville, Texas. Denise, a former elementary school teacher in Smithville, and her husband have retired so Bobby has plenty of time to fish now.
And the fourth photo is of a large redfish caught in 2005 by my cousin Angie's husband Jack Middleton on his boat. Jack and Angie now live in Cove, Texas, near the water on the outskirts of Baytown. Angie recently retired from her career as a librarian in Baytown so she now has more leisure time. She and Jack can spend countless hours on the water now fishing, boating and enjoying one another's company as they have both retired.
If you have any pictures of the big fish you caught and want me to post them on my blog site, email them to me at tracyg@embarqmail.com or send them along in the mail to P.O. Box 361, West Columbia, TX 77486. Send along a stamped, self-addressed return envelope if you want the photos returned.

  1. Hey, Tracy - is Bobby holding the same giant fish that Rikki is holding in the photo album on her Facebook site? Don't know if she caught that one, or someone else did, but you might want to add it if she did. - Angie
