Martinezes Celebrate First Anniversary

Today marks the first anniversary of the July 25, 2008, wedding of my longtime friend and fellow ConocoPhillips employee Patricio Martinez and his beautiful bride Norma. The Martinezes recited their marriage vows in front of family and friends on this day last year in Freeport, Texas. It was the second marriage for both bride and groom, and they are now making their home in Angleton, Texas. Pat and I have worked together for nearly 20 years in the Utilities Department at ConocoPhillips's Old Ocean refinery. He has been a dear friend over the many years we have worked together and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Pat and Norma on their first anniversary. Peggy and I wish the two of you the best in the years to come.
Among the coworkers of Pat Martinez who attended his wedding last year were (in addition to myself, Charles Wilbanks, Mike Whitten and Larry Dever) Syl Hajovsky (pictured above at left) and Marvin Graham (pictured above at right). In the photo above those two is Mike Whitten and his date who sang during the marriage ceremony.
ConocoPhillips Utilities Department Team Leader Jerry Louvan and his wife enjoyed themselves at the July 25, 2008 wedding of my coworker Pat Martinez and his bride Norma.
